I’ve been writing movie reviews on Instagram for a few years now. It started as a challenge between my brother-in-law and I. He and I have very different taste in movies, he loves a lot of movies I hate, I love a lot of movies he hates.

Upon Leaving the theatre after watching the first Purge movie, he and I had very different opinions. So we challenged each other to write a review, to share our differing sides on the story.

Little did I know that this small task would spark my interest in writing and ultimately lay the foundation for my blog.

My movie reviews will be sporadic, if I wrote a movie review for every movie I saw it would be more work than pleasure.

I’m a guy, a gun guy at that so naturally I like movies where things explode, people fight, chase each other in cars, and shoot at each other. So most of my reviews will be on these type of movies…

I’ve always given my movie reviews a 1-10 rating. 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. One and only one movie has ever received a 10 rating. That movie was Prisoners, with Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman. If you haven’t seen that movie stop reading this and GO WATCH IT!

Also I promise no spoilers in my reviews, nothing worst than reading someone’s review and them ruining the whole movie.
